An outstanding ski field

Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe and forms part of 3 Vallées, the biggest ski field in the world with 600 km of pisted runs.
Thanks to its outstanding snow cover and high quality ski lifts, you can make the most of the joys of snow sports.

You can enjoy the slopes even longer from Monday to Thursday with the Péclet funitel’s extended opening times. Ski the slopes until 6.30 pm and enjoy the sight of impressive sunsets.

Val Thorens zip line - La Bee

Try out the Val Thorens zipline and fly across a breathtaking landscape. The descent across the Maurienne and Tarentaise valleys takes just under two minutes. Fly through the air on the highest mega-zipline in the world.

Make the most of the outstanding snow cover to enjoy a snowshoe walk across the 3 Vallées ski field, with trail difficulty levels ranging from easy to hard.

Val Thorens outdoor skating rink - Sensation guaranteed

Time to get your skates on! This activity welcomes young and old to the Place Péclet to discover the joys of sliding on totally natural ice. The rink offers 400m² of freedom!

But it's not all about sliding! To welcome you in the best conditions, La Patinoire offers a snack bar in its chalet, where you can enjoy snacks, crêpes and hot chocolates with family and friends.

Tobogganing fun on the slopes

On the slopes, you can zoom down Val Thorens’ impressive luge tracks. Try the Cosmojet experience: a 6 km marked trail providing 45 minutes of pure delight.

Want to go tobogganing together? Discover Snake Gliss! These are individual sleds assembled together (up to 10 sleds per snake), and piloted by a professional. The Snake Gliss is a 45-minute descent from the top of the Péclet Funitel. Laughter guaranteed!

A play area for children

The cable carplayground will delight your children. Not far away, you'll find the star trail with its 45-metre vertical drop. A treasure hunt is also organized by the Val Thorens tourist office, so help Valthy find his rocket!

Would you like to try out an electric Fat Bike? With Montagne Expérience by ESF, come and enjoy a fun and sporting activity while following the advice of your instructor.
Thanks to the ultra-wide tires on your electric bike, you'll be able to discover the ski area in a whole new way, and ride on the snow without any problems! The bikes are equipped with a lighting system so you can enjoy the activity at dusk.

Want even more snow sports? Take the wheel as you race around the Alain PROST ice driving track. Sitting at an altitude of around 2,200 metres, this track is the highest in Europe and guarantees thrills!
